Madden 2003 has a wide variety of teams to use. Most players will use the big 3 when
playing online. St. Louis, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh tend to be the teams played most.
There are other teams that are good and shouldn't be over looked. Green Bay has a future
Hall a Fame Quarterback on their team and can throw any pass in the game. San
Francisco has a lot of talent on offense and has the best offensive line in the game.
Last year's Super Bowl Champs still get no respect, but don't underestimate them. New
England has a lot of weapons on offense and their defense is hard hitting. New York (AFC)
has talent on both sides of the ball, even though they were hit hard this past season with
key loses in free agency. They still have enough fire power to get the job done on both
sides of the ball.
Oakland may be getting old, but they still have enough talent to win. With two future Hall
of Fame Receivers, look to put up a lot of points. Tampa Bay has a new coach and new
attitude on offense, look to use both the pass and running game to keep the opposing
defenses guessing and let the defense dominate.
Miami now has a power running game with their off season free agent pick up of one of
the best running backs in the game. Below we show all the teams rankings. The rankings
are based off the default PS2 Rosters. When you play online you can not use the latest
rosters. After you look at the ratings, we go further into detail by each breaking team
rankings down and by breaking down the top 10 teams in each category.
We hope this page will give you an opportunity to decide on what team fits your style of
play. We also break down each team in more detail in the team section of the VG Sports
Virtual Playbook for Madden 2003.
