2002 Team Outlook
Seattle has moved into the NFC West whic means they have to play St. Louis and San Francisco twice each season. This doesn't bode well for them making the playoffs. Look for Seattle to finish third in the division with an 8-8 record.

Seattle is led by a journeymen quarterback who has had some good success over the last few seasons. He has a strong arm, but his accuracy can be off at times. The starting running back is one of the more talented running backs in the game. Look to run him behind the left side of the line where Seattle has one of the top left tackles in the game. The starting receivers are young and raw. Look for them to get better over the course of playing a franchise.

The defense is rated 95 overall when using the default rosters. This seems a bit too high, but still there is a lot of talent on the defense. The top defensive tackle has been in the league a long time disrupting both the run and pass. Look for him to generate pass pressure up the middle. The three starting linebackers are all fast and can also tackle. Look to blitz them from all different angles to get pressure on the quarterback. The top cornerback on the team is one of best players at his position. He can shut down most receivers. Both safeties are good at stopping the run and defending the pass.

The kicker needs to be replaced, he is only rated a 53 overall. The punter on the other hand has a good leg and can pin teams deep. You will want to sub the punt returner before you begin a franchise. His overall rating as punt returner is only a 27.
