San Diego has a great defense to keep them in most games. The offense has some good young talent and just needs to jell. Once the offense gets on the same level as the defense look for San Diego to make a run at the playoffs.
The offense has two young, up-and-coming players. The young quarterback has a good arm and can move around in the pocket. When using him, throw high percentage passes.
The 2nd year running back has great speed and power. He can take it to the house on any given play. Look to run him often behind the right side of the line. The receiving core is not great, but can get open and give you a first down when needed.
The defensive line has playmakers on it. The left end can put a lot of pressure on the quarterback. He creates a lot of match problems for most right tackles. Both outside linebackers are fast and talented. Both can make plays sideline to sideline. The weak side linebacker will be in the Hall of Fame when he retires. The cornerbacks are not the best, but have speed to cover most receivers. The strong safety is the best in the game at his position and can be great asset in stopping the run.
Special teams units are solid. The punter is one of the best in the game. The kick and punt return game has good return men with lots of speed.
