EA snags exclusive football rights (04/11) : EA Sports have secured exclusive rights to NCAA themed football games in a deal lasting 6 years. According to Gamespot, "under the agreement, EA will be the only publisher allowed to use NCAA brands in console and handheld games." The deal does not cover any other official NCAA sports games. "When we began our analysis of the videogame landscape, it became apparent that EA Sports was best positioned from a marketing and development perspective to maximize the sales opportunities for college football," said Pat Battle, CEO of The Collegiate Licensing Company.

Wide receiver direct snap ? (10/24) : I was playing online earlier when I encountered a player called JAMES420884 who was direct snapping to the wide receiver out of the shotgun formation. No surprise this player has a 222-32 record. Not only that but with a REP of 353 he is obviously in the Madden Premium Pass. Have you encoutered this type of cheese online and if so post the information on our forums. We are trying to gather as much information about this problem so we can forward the information to EA.
